IS always a mess. Here's an idea.
How bout we designate a bank organizer.
Bank Organizer would designate what items goes where, basically how stuff should be grouped. Clean up after the people that just toss shit everywhere.
Bank Organizer regulates what should stay and go.
Bank Organizer could auction off stuff that's been sitting forever to build up funds for more tabs.
Bank Organizer could pinpoint general guild needs and come up with schemes to keep the bank stocked.
An Example: Guildies like to drop cloth in the bank. Bank Organizer would make sure a certain bag type was always stocked in the bank. When it was determined everyone in the guild had at least that bag type, the Bank Organizer would start stocking the next level. Older cloth still being dropped in the bank could be sold etc. for mats to make the next group of bags. NEAT!?
Maybe even come up with gold making schemes given the different professions in the guild, divy out the rewards, keep a % of sales for trouble.
I would think the Bank Organizer would only have to review the bank once a week.. at the most every 2 weeks.

I agree. The bank organizer would also have to have extensive knowledge of what materials are plentiful enough to get rid of, and which materials are hard to come by. That applies to cloth, ore, herbs, etc....
Anyone pretty schooled in all of the mats?

I propose a slightly alternate version of this - one organizer per item type, preferably someone who knows about the items. For example, a cook organizes the food, a tailor organizes, the cloth, etc
Give each organizer a few days to determine the optimum number of slots for their type, and then the leader can allocate a certain section of the GV to be for each type.

hmmm.. perhaps.
That would mean a ton of communication about each item that runs through the GB.
If one person ran the whole bank, there would be no waiting for the other organizers to be online.
Just my opinion.
